Partner program terms
Plain version: send us founders, get paid when they stay. The details below are exactly what the software does — no clause here is enforced by anything other than the code.
1. Who can join
Anyone can apply. Applications land as pending and are reviewed by hand; your referral link does not work until it is approved. We can decline or suspend an account without giving a reason, and we do so for spam, paid search on our brand terms, misrepresenting what the product does, or incentivised sign-ups.
2. What you earn
External partners earn 30% of the first billing period a referred workspace pays — 30% of one month on a monthly plan, 30% of the year on an annual one. It is a one-time commission, not a recurring share. Existing customers who refer someone earn 200 Treats on their own workspace instead of cash.
Only paid plans count: Spark, Portfolio, Studio, Fund. Free accounts and the Pause tier earn nothing.
3. Who gets credit for a referral
First touch wins. The first partner link a visitor clicks is stored in their browser for 30 days and is never overwritten by a later one. When they sign up, that referral is locked to their account and their workspace permanently. A second partner cannot claim an account someone else already introduced — the database refuses the write.
4. When it's paid
A referral becomes earnable 90 days after its first payment — the same window as our money-back guarantee. At the end of that window we re-check that the subscription is still live. A referral that cancels, downgrades to Free or Pause, or whose payment fails inside the window earns nothing. A cancellation after the window does not claw anything back.
5. Getting the money out
Cash balances are withdrawn on request by bank transfer, minimum $50.00, to an account in your own name. We need a valid IBAN and the account holder's name; a request moves the amount from available to pending immediately, and a rejected request returns the exact amount. You are responsible for your own tax and, where it applies, for invoicing us — supply a VAT or tax ID in your profile if you have one.
6. Self-referral
You cannot refer yourself, your own workspace, or an account sharing your email address or company name. These are checked when the account signs up, when it pays, and again at the moment a reward would be written. A self-referral is void and cannot be reinstated by us.
7. Ending it
Either side can leave at any time. If you leave or we suspend you, referrals already past their qualification window are still paid out; ones still inside it are not. Fraudulent activity voids everything unpaid.
8. Changes
We may change the commission rate or the program rules; changes apply to referrals created after the change, never retroactively to ones already in flight. Questions: support.
