Starting one

There are four ways in, and they all run the same nine boards:

• Run the analysis at the end of the Quick intake chat, right after you create a venture.
• Convene the nine on a venture's Analysis tab. The empty state reads "No verdict yet".
• Fast launch on the Add to your portfolio page, which runs the analysis behind the launch pipeline.
• The MCP tool start_analysis, if you have connected an assistant.

Only one analysis runs per venture at a time; starting a second while one is in flight is refused.

What it costs and how long it takes

A full nine-board deep analysis costs 80 Treats. A new workspace starts with 100, so the first one is covered with room to spare.

It takes roughly twenty minutes. The seven research boards run in parallel with live web search, then the advisor reconciles them, then the executive board writes the verdict.

You are only charged if a verdict lands. Treats are debited after the executive synthesis succeeds. A failed run sets the venture back to failed and costs nothing — see how Treats work.

Reading what comes back

The verdict is one of exactly four values:

• GO — build it
• PIVOT — the market is real, this shape of it isn't
• CAUTION — possible, with named conditions
• NO-GO — don't

Alongside it: an opportunity score from 0 to 100, an ocean type (red, blue or purple), a one-line thesis, a recommended price, a market-size summary, break-even months, startup cost, three top moves and three top risks.

The written report runs in fixed sections: Verdict · What this business really is · The opportunity · The numbers · The competition & your edge · The path in · Legal & setup · The risks · The play.

One thing worth knowing: the score is assigned by the executive board from the evidence, not computed as an average of board scores. It is a judgement, made under an explicit instruction to stay consistent with what the research actually found.

If you disagree

You can re-run a single board for 10 Treats rather than paying for the whole analysis again — useful when one board clearly worked from a wrong assumption. And if the verdict is a NO-GO you can publish it to the Killed Club with the Share button in the venture header. That is the bravest thing on the site, and it is opt-in only.
