Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of kitty.build. By creating an account or using the app you agree to them. kitty.build is provided by FounderGem LLC c/o 1309 Coffeen Avenue STE 1200, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States.

Your account

You're responsible for your account, keeping your password and 2FA secure, and for activity under it. Access is invite-based and scoped by role; don't attempt to access ventures or data you weren't granted.

Plans, billing & renewal

Paid plans are subscriptions. You choose a plan and a billing interval — monthly or annual — at checkout, and we charge your card at the start of each period. Current prices, in US dollars, excluding any tax we're required to collect:

• Spark — $20/month or $200/year.
• Portfolio — $79/month or $790/year.
• Studio — $199/month or $1,990/year.
• Fund — $990/month or $9,900/year.
• Pause — $9/month.

Your subscription renews automatically at the same plan, price and interval — monthly plans each month, annual plans each year — until you cancel. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see your full card number. If a payment fails we may retry it and pause the plan's features until it clears. If we change a price we'll email you before it applies to a renewal, so you can cancel first.

Cancelling

Cancel any time in Settings → Billing — “Cancel plan”, or “Manage billing”, which opens the Stripe billing portal — or by emailing info@foundergem.com. There's no form and no retention call. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you've already paid for: you keep the plan until then and aren't charged again. We don't pro-rate partial periods, apart from the guarantee below. Your workspace then drops to the free plan — your ventures, sites and reports stay.

The Nine Lives Guarantee

This is the promise we make publicly, and it is a term of this agreement. Kill one bad idea — or you don't pay. If not one verdict changed what you did next — killed an idea, forced a pivot, or greenlit a bet you'd been sitting on — you may claim any time in your first 90 days, counted from your first payment. There is no waiting period: day 1 and day 90 are equally valid. Email us the word refund at info@foundergem.com and we return every cent you've paid, to the original payment method via Stripe. No form, no retention call, no clawback, and you keep every report.

Top-up Treats packs are separate purchases: email us and we'll refund any pack whose Treats you haven't spent.

Treats

Treats are the in-app unit we meter heavy AI work in — deep nine-board analyses, site generation, feature builds, SEO articles, video renders. They are a licence to use the service, not money: they have no cash value, are not currency, a deposit, a gift card or stored value, can't be redeemed for cash, and can't be sold or transferred outside your workspace. We may change what a job costs in Treats; we'll show the cost in-app before you spend.

• Monthly grant — each paid plan grants Treats at the start of every billing period; annual plans get a 20% bonus on each grant.
• Rollover cap — unused granted Treats carry over, capped at one month's allotment for your plan. Anything above the cap expires when the next grant lands.
• Purchased packs don't expire — Treats you buy in a top-up pack aren't subject to the rollover cap and don't expire while your account is open. Spending draws on granted Treats first.
• Failed work costs nothing — Treats are charged only after a job delivers.

When an account is closed, unused Treats are forfeited except where the guarantee above applies.

Acceptable use

• Don't use kitty.build for unlawful activity or to violate others' rights.
• Don't misuse connectors or attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or overload the service.
• You're responsible for the content you create and for credentials you connect.

AI output

kitty.build's analysis, reviews, and generated build packages are decision-support, not professional (legal, financial, or tax) advice. Verify important decisions independently.

Availability & warranty

The service is provided “as is” without warranties. We aim for high availability but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited.

Termination

We may suspend accounts that violate these terms. You can stop using kitty.build and request deletion at any time.
