Annual billing is pay for 10 months, get 12 — and it carries 20% bonus Treats on every monthly grant.
Pause is the parking tier: your data, sites and receipts are kept and the weekly brief keeps arriving, but the engine and heavy AI jobs are off. One click brings everything back.
Fair-use ceilings
Besides Treats, each plan carries monthly ceilings on light usage — deep analyses, advisor messages, AI generations. These exist to stop abuse, and are sized so ordinary operating never touches them. If you hit one, the message names the plan, the exact ceiling and what to do:
This workspace hit the Portfolio plan's fair-use ceiling of 30 deep analyses this month. Upgrade, or contact support if this is legitimate use.
That last clause is meant literally. If you are using kitty hard and legitimately, email us rather than upgrading out of frustration.
The analysis ceiling is checked before any Treats are reserved, so a refused run never leaves a hold behind.
Billing is per workspace
The plan belongs to the workspace, not to you personally. Everyone in the workspace shares its ventures, Treats and limits. Only owners and admins can change the plan; other members see "The plan is shared by everyone in this workspace — ask an owner or admin to change it."
Hitting the venture cap
Creating a venture beyond your plan's count is refused with the plan name and the number. Archiving a venture frees a slot — the cap counts active ventures only.
In the mobile app
Plans, top-ups and payment details cannot be started or changed inside the iOS and Android builds — Apple's rules. Manage them at https://kitty.build in a browser.
Frequently asked
- Which plan do I need for the 24/7 engine?
- Any paid plan except Pause. The free plan has no engine, which also means no morning reports.
- What counts against the venture limit?
- Active, non-archived ventures. Archiving one frees a slot immediately.
- Can a member change the plan?
- No. Billing actions require the owner or admin role in that workspace.
